Another summery themed post today, I am really feeling bright colors these days:
More Collabor88 things today – I just had to blog the stuff from Hive and Scarlet Creative.
ALL THE PLANTS. I mean there’s other things too… but plants just make me happy.
As everyone is well aware, The Arcade is open.
I braved the hours spent mindlessly TPing to get in the first night – but I did get everything I wanted.
Zaara’s set is by far one of my favorites and I was lucky enough to get the Rare bikini after just a few plays.
Most of my stuff today is actually from the Arcade, so if you hate gachas I AM SORRY!
I also want to thank my friend Posh for letting me invade her home to take this picture too….so yes, thanks ❤
All the credits and stuff below. ❤
I seem to be in the mood to do absolutely nothing lately… so I made my avy pouty for my blog today 😛
Not really sad, just fit the picture 😀
The desk shown and the chaise are both new from Dutchie. The PG versions are available at the Home & Garden Expo and I do believe the adult versions can be found in the Dutchie main store. I like the desk a lot – it rezzes little props as well based on the menu options selected.
Rest of the details are below ❤
I took today’s pictures almost a week ago – it’s more Summerfest stuff.
I have however been a bit absent due to some RL things that are not really set to pass by for a bit, so bear with me please ❤
Regardless, I did some beachy photos and decided to finally post them.
I could probably take pictures with these hedgehogs daily – and I have used them several times already, but I felt they looked cute accompanying the Mish Mish mermaids.
Also, Zaara has amazing bathing suits at Summerfest. They look so realistic to me *.*
Anyways, to the credits, I am off to spend some time with my family.
Summerfest 2014 opened today!
There are SO MANY cute things that I had to space them out among several posts. So expect a bunch of pictures in the next few days.
Today though I wanted to show several items all together, including the adorable animals from !Ohmai and the Driftwood Set from 8f8.
The Driftwood set shown above is yet another amazing release from 8f8 (seriously I think I buy everything that has ever been made. >.< ) and you can purchase it as a whole set or as individual pieces.
All the fabrics are texture change ( you will see that in my other pictures) and there are poses built-in. My favorite piece is the hammock. ❤
!Ohmai also released flamingos and hedgehogs for Summerfest and they added the perfect touch of cute to my beach set up:
The flamingos come in multiple stand positions as well one you wear and it flys above you…..and a rideable one 😮
The hedgehogs also have multiple rez and wear options as well as some (not shown) that come sitting inside coconut drinks.
Lastly, I just had to do a close up shot of the new Zaara sandals.
They are so incredibly detailed and work with the Slink flat/bare feet. I have been on a flip-flop kick lately in both lives, so I had to have these. *.*
On to the details now, going to TRY and make the rest of the day a “lazy” Sunday for me. 😛
The new round of The Garden/Boutique/Poser Pavilion by The Liaison Collaborative started yesterday.
The theme of the current round is “Bali” and I fell in love with the Bali Resort set from 8f8.
I was able to incorporate a bunch of other things from The Garden into the resort set since everything fit the theme so nice:
The Bali Resort set shown above does come in separate pieces, which makes it easy to build your own layout such as I did.
The piers and dock pieces can be easily positioned together to make the setup as small or as large as you’d like – including the huts that are separate as well so you can rez one or 10 😛
I took a bunch of smaller shots to show all the details that I put into the set up:
In addition, I wanted to go ahead and include a “fashion portion” of this post and it gave me a reason to actually put the furniture in the pictures to use:
This post is pretty pic heavy, so as you can imagine the credits are gonna be quite long. If I missed anything please feel free to ask ❤
Decor post today!
I have been busy setting up the new skybox from What Next available at The Garden by The Liaison Collaborative.
So far I have just set up the living room/entry way area so I wanted to show those off today:
The shelving is built into the skybox and they do come empty. Any decor items you see I filled the shelves myself since I seem to have a large assortment of random knick knacks.
As always some closer shots of all the little items:
On to the credits as they always take a while.
I wanted to take a break from skin blogging to do a decor/landscape post.
I love the new Valiano set from Trompe Loeil available at FaMESHed and it makes up the bulk of the items shown in my photos:
The above picture was my first time experimenting with darker windlight settings but I am pretty happy with it. The Valiano set is materials enabled and I loved playing with the reflective lighting that bounced off it all.
In addition, Poser Pavilion by The Liasion Collaborative opens at midnight! I made the following pose and used it to show off some fancy attire 😛
On to the details!
I set up a “man cave” to show off the new bar set from Trompe Loeil available at FaMESHed.
Manly rooms are a bit out of my comfort zone but I tried 😛
The Dragon & Orchid Home Pub is perfect for a home bar or “man cave” and comes in multiple wood finishes as well as menu driven stained glass that can change to orange or blue based color schemes. The bar comes as one object and the accessories are optional and rezzable individually. I rezzed and set up all the beer and liquor bottles and then linked them together to cut down on prims/land impact. This set also comes with the option to make your own stained glass/window panels and comes with the template to do so. It’s perfect if you wanted to customize your bar to make it more personal.
I wanted to show off the rest of the room as well since it took forever to set it all up –
The airplane set is a gacha from Eleventh Hour available at OMGacha. A few of the pieces are rares but I like sets that don’t require the ENTIRE set to be usable. All the little prop pieces can make for really cute decor items.
On to the credits now, and I spaced them by sections of the room:
