A vintage kind of love.

6Republic recently opened and I have been busy setting up lots of scenes/houses/entirely too many skyboxes.
That being said, expect lots of decor posts (those are my favorites) but today is a bit of a combo.

I kind of fell in love with this garage and car from Anhelo.

A vintage kind of love.

10.20.14

I recently finished furnishing my entire “fall home” and while I do want to blog the entire thing I realized doing it all at once would be entirely too much. I am going to start today though with the exterior, tomorrow the back of the house area, and then move on to the inside. Will probably space them out so it’s not always house, house, house.

10.20.14

I picked this build up awhile ago and it’s still one of my favorites. Perfect size for what I prefer when it comes to SL builds. 😀

I decorated the front with a lot of fall themed things, and this cute little ( I think it’s meant to be spooky 😛 ) cat from Ispachi.

You can see a close up of the cat here, it’s adorable.

Credits are below, and I am going to include some of the landscaping items since people sometimes ask 🙂

Finally set up a new build – The Rivershire Waterwheel from Trompe Loeil.

Rivershire Waterwheel

You can pick up this build at the current round of Collabor88. The interior is adorable but I haven’t finished decorating it yet, so I didn’t take any pictures of the inside.

I did however set up the Low Poly Lullaby set from Half Deer in the living room area.

Low Poly Lullaby.

This set is cute and does come pretty small-scale, but I re-sized it to make it larger. It’s available at The Chapter Four in the gacha room.

To the credits, I am still working on playing catch up.

6.3.14

Today’s post is really pic heavy, but I got a bit carried away.

It took me a few days to finish this set up but I like it so much I am gonna just live in it lol –

The Boathouse.

Gone Fishing.

I am using the boathouse from EPIA. It is one of the rare items for The Arcade but TOTALLY worth the gamble. I rarely fall in love with builds from the outside all the way in, but I am really a huge fan of this one. The bottom level offers a cute docking area for boats as well as space to decorate as well. The upper level is two rooms but uses an open floor plan so there are not walls everywhere – which I love. It’s very easy to navigate and the textures are lovely.

I added the arcade items from Convair (3rd photo) since it fit my boat theme.

I also wanted to do a more cropped in shot so I decide to squeeze in a bit of fashion post with all the landscaping/decor:

Play It Again

To the credits – they are quite lengthy:

Birdwatchers Nest

Vespertine recently released a few new items available at The Season’s Story.
This event runs for about another week so be sure to head over before it closes.

Into The Woods

I love the garden gates and I am very happy she included a mossy version since I tend to favor things that look aged or worn. These gates come in non mossy as well as several color options. I am using the iron version in my photos.

The Birdwatchers Nest is also new and it is a cute tree house type of build that is relatively small and perfect for a little hideaway:

To the details – I am off to make dinner.

Forest Cafe

Decor post today!

Lots of items from lots of events.

Forest Cafe

This build is from Kuro available at The Home Show and it is themed to be a ” cafe ” but I am sure it can be used for an array of things. I did stick to the cafe vibe though and wanted to make something along the lines of a relaxing coffee shop.

Here are some close-ups of the interior:

And before I forget, The Season’s Story opens tomorrow! This is one of my favorite events and I will be doing lots of posts to cover all the items available – but first up I set up the cute garden set from Sari-Sari at the entrance to my little cafe:

In The Garden

These items are in a gacha and you can go try your luck tomorrow when it opens ❤

I split the credits up by exterior/interior but if I missed anything please let me know!

The Forgotten Garden

I have been working on setting up the new green house from Alouette and FINALLY after adding a few touches from the Forest Spring Concert Mini Event – I am finished 😀

The Forgotten Garden.

I wanted it to resemble a little garden hideaway, that is why the interior doesn’t really look like your standard greenhouse. This greenhouse is available in 2 versions though, the one I am using and another with tables for more traditional usage. I am also using some newer items from .Lame furniture ( the bed, rug and lights) and I love the “worn in” fabric feel to all his items they are also texture change!).

Garden Hideaway

Here are some close up shots of all the little things:

Garden Hideaway - 2

I will probably leave this up for a while, mainly because I don’t have a normal house set up and I just really like this little build 😛

On to the credits!
